Mary Egan

 I am a second career ABSN student.  About 5 years ago, I faced a difficult choice.  I found myself unfulfilled emotional and spiritually in my work life, but I was unsure about the time it would take to make a significant change.  I decided to start small with science classes at a community college.  I progressed to working as a CNA to see if I had the chops to be a nurse.  I found a calling.  After working as a paralegal and a business manager for 20 years, I found myself completely changing directions.  I am enthralled with science and loving healthcare.   To all my caregiving,  I bring with me wisdom gained from a wide variety of life experience.  I also bring skills from my previous work with customers and interviewing clients.  I dedicate my new career to the people who have encourage me to keep growing and learning.
